Who was Lincoln Tate?
Andrea B. from the Spaghetti Western Data Base confirmed my long search to identify the real name of Lincoln Tate. His real name was James Harmon Kennelly and he was born in Harris County, Texas on December 1, 1934. He became a producer and worked behind the scenes after he returned to California after his Italian western days were through. He was married to Anita Marie Kennelly who was born in 1953 and they had a daughter Carly Kennelly in 1982. Carly is currently a traffic reporter on Portland, Oregon’s KOIN-TV. Tate/Kennelly died on December 16, 2001, in Woodland Hills, California, U.S.A. I have confirmation from the actors home he did not die there so this must have been his home residence. Reference the link Andrea sent me about Carly and her telling of her father being actor Lincoln Tate.
