Germano Longo dead, goodbye to the historic voice actor of Jigen in Lupine III

In the last few hours, the actor, voice actor and dubbing director died Germano Longoknown by fans of Japanese animation for lending his voice to the character of Daisuke Jigen in The Adventures of Lupine III in the first historical dubbing and of the Commander Gandal in UFO Robot Grendizer.

Born in Poggiardo, Longo attended the Experimental Center of Cinematography in Romegraduating in 1953. He was very active in genre cinema, particularly in that peplumd ‘adventure e of the spaghetti western. As mentioned at the beginning of the article, German Longo is best known for his voice acting activity, having lent the voice of him Daisuke Jigen in The Adventures of Lupine III.

In his voice acting activity, German Longo also distinguished himself for having lent his voice to Mr. Marlows in Cat’s Eyes, a Mamoo in the film Lupine III – The stone of wisdom (in the first dubbing dubbing) e Yen Sid in Epic Mickey – Mickey’s Legendary Challenge and Epic Mickey 2: The Adventure of Mickey and Oswald.
