Une de mes actrices préférées du western européen. Je me suis toujours demandé ce qu'elle est devenue après 1975, année où sa carrière au cinéma s'arrête nette à 33 ans à peine.

De son vrai nom Loredana Cappelletti, elle fut Miss Trieste en 1959 et débuta au cinéma en 1960.

TRIESTE Farewell Miss Trieste, year 1959. An incurable disease took away, at the age of 65, Loredana Cappelletti, an active and cordial woman, generous and deeply in love with her city. Last year she worked hard to save the historic bathhouse Ausonia, the "catwalk" from which her long and brilliant artistic activity started from the planned closure.

When she was still a student of the Petrarca high school, in fact, in 1959, the photographer Ceretti convinced Loredana Cappelletti to participate in the Miss Trieste contest, which at the time was held in the Ausonia "bathroom". Thus, on a hot and crowded summer evening, she was crowned queen, conquering the classic city beauty belt. Loredana was only eighteen, but that title and that lucky day brought her to Rome, opening the doors of Cinecittà for her.

Under the pseudonym of Loredana Nusciak he starred in thirty films, working on the set alongside Alberto Sordi in «Una vita difficile» and Franco Nero in «Djiango». For her expressive skills and her photogenicity, Loredana Cappelletti also had many opportunities to work in television advertising, where she was able to stand out and be professionally appreciated.

In 1965 she met the actor Gianni Medici, who would become her future husband. In the seventies he devoted himself to the world of photo novels, while in the eighties he returned to work in the cinema, with various positive collaborations. Then he left his artistic career to devote himself entirely, with love and dedication, to his family.

«I must admit that the Miss Trieste contest marked an important stage in my life - said Loredana - especially from the point of view of character maturation. As a girl, as often happens, I saw myself as ugly, insecure, shy, like almost all my peers. I remember that evening I was terrified, my legs were trembling with fear: fear that then turned into joy after the delivery of the sash and chaplet. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful family behind me who have always helped and supported me. Don't think that everything was easy in those days, quite the contrary. There were many difficulties, more than now, we girls did not have as many support and possibilities as there are now, but this made us stronger and more aggressive ».

To the aspiring misses, appropriately, he suggested: «Read a lot and continue your studies, don't stop at the beauty contest and the aesthetic fact itself. The important thing is to keep up-to-date on theater, cinema, culture in general, be prepared for everything and be ready for every call ».
