Conrado San Martín, Spanish actor, Dies at 98

Conrado San Martín Prieto was born on February 20, 1921, and died on April 24, 2019.

He was with a long and prolific career.

Martin made his film debut in 1941 and was particularly popular during the 1950s.

He deserted his initial profession as a novice fighter to take little jobs in the venue in the organization of Cayetano Luca de Tena and work as an extra in certain movies.

Martín made his movie debut with Oro vil (1941) a movie coordinated by Eduardo García Maroto.
In the 1940s, San Martín turned into an entertainer in auxiliary jobs.

Martín turned out to be particularly sought after in probably the most significant Spanish movie of that period: El fantasma y Doña Juanita (1944) coordinated by Rafael Gil, Los últimos de Filipinas (1945) coordinated by Antonio Román; La princesa de los Ursinos (1947), by Luis Lucia and La Lola se va a los puertos (1947) and Locura de love (1948), the two movies coordinated by Juan de Orduña.

Martín’s jobs drove the Catalan generation organization Emisora movies to give him an elite contract.

Which led him to star in the comedies: Siempre vuelve de madrugada (1948) (He generally returned at sunrise): Despertó su corazón Awoke his heart (1949) and Mi adorado Juan My darling Juan (1949) a movie coordinated by Jerónimo Mihura.

San Martín additionally took jobs in the spine-chiller Apartado the corrreos 1001 (1950); Mail box 1001, a movie coordinated by Julio Salvador which was an incredible hit with gatherings of people; and Relato policíaco (1954) by Antonio Isasi-Isasmendi. The accomplishment of a portion of these preparations gave him the featuring job in Amenaza (1950) Threat a movie coordinated by Antonio Román; La patrulla, 19540 a movie coordinated by Pedro Lazaga; Pasión en el damage (1956) o …Y eligió el infierno (1957).

He made his own creation organization, Laurus films, delivering the melodramas: Lo que nunca muere (1954) and Sin la sonrisa de Dios (1955).

As his profession united, Martín started to work in worldwide co-preparations like: Le legioni di Cleopatra (1959) by Vittorio Cottafavi, The Colossus of Rhodes (1960), the principal movie coordinated by Sergio Leone, King of Kings (1961), La Muerte silba un blues (1962), coordinated by Jesús Franco; the Spaghetti Western All’ombra di una foal (In the Shadow of a Colt) (1966) coordinated by Giovanni Grimaldi; Los largos días de la venganza (1967) coordinated by Florestano Vancini; Simón Bolívar (1969) a movie coordinated by Alessandro Blasetti.

The disappointment of his creation organization in the end influenced him to resign from the extra large screen in the mid 1970s.

Martín returned to take on significant optional jobs 10 years after the fact in movies, for example, Asesinato en el comité focal (Murder in the Central Committee) (1983); A la pálida luz de la Luna (1985)’ a movie coordinated by José María González Sinde; Extramuros (1985), a movie coordinated by Miguel Picazo; Dragon Rapide (1986) by Jaime Camino Boom (1989) by Rosa Vergés; Riders of the Dawn (1990) by Vicente Aranda and A solas contigo (1990), a movie coordinated by Eduardo Campoy

Conrado San Martín passed away at 98 years old.
