Arnaldo dell'Acqua has died. The stuntman, celebrated for having been the stunt double for Bud Spencer in numerous films, passed away in Rome at the age of 86. His brother Ottaviano gave the news.

Born in Campobasso on May 14, 1938, Arnaldo dell'Acqua, also known as Aldo, breathed the air of cinema from an early age. The stuntman grew up in a family of stuntmen. On Tuesday 23 July, the actor passed away in the capital.

His brother Ottaviano announced his death with a touching message shared on his Instagram profile: "Another important element of the world of stunts has left us, Arnaldo Dell'Acqua who everyone knew as Aldo, he loved this category immensely and four days ago, in a chat in a beautiful serene moment he had, we named many colleagues that he remembered".

Ottaviano Dell'Acqua added: "There were many of you and his thoughts accompany us with joy as he wanted. A big kiss brother, you have been my guide and my mentor, I will love you a world and you will always be in my heart. Have a good trip, your protégé Octavian".
