RIP Peter Boom

Dutch actor and singer Peter Boom died of an apparent heart attack in his home in Bagnaia, Viterbo, Lazio, Italy on May 26, 2011. Boom was born Peter Jorn Boom on 3/31/1936, Bloemendaal, Noord-Holland, Netherlands and was the lead singer on several Spaghetti western soundtracks in the '60s and '70s. He started out as an actor but his deep voice was perfect for singing. Peter was also a voice artist, writer and lyricist. Like the late Peter Tevis he was one of the main singers heard on Italian western soundtracks along with Raoul and Don Powell.
